I just witnessed an awkward conversation between two awkwardly social people. He was one of those guys, who still has that greasy, long hair, flipped over his eye, wearing all black and worn out plastic bands around his wrist, he bought from hot topic. She was wearing a blank spaghetti strap tank top with jeans and hgtacky brown boots. He began to speak to her about art because she carried an art portfolio, the conversation was pretty average and seemed as if they both did not have an social skills. He overall did not have any game what so ever and wanted a quick exit. But he took the leap. We all complain about being alone, and blame it on living on Long Island, or being surrounded by gays in the city. But lets all Wake up and smell the pumpkin spice lattes, we are alone because we do not take chances. We don't drive back to that Starbucks where the employee gives you that extra smile, or talk to that one attractive guy on the subway, because we just don't see the point. Well here's the point, you're single, it's not that big a deal and whats the worse that can happen? He says no? That boy who looked like he belonged in the band fall out boy, ended the conversation with " my name is Brandon by the way, here's my number if you want to get some coffee sometime." I need some COFFEE in my life, if you're picking up what I'm putting down. So Lets all take the leap, because I don't know about you guys but its only fall and I'm already in need of some warmth in my bed.
